CITIZENS' FORUM FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, a voluntary, non-government & non profit making social organization made its humble beginning in the year 2005 by a group of intellectual citizens and dedicated social workers, volunteers. The Organization has been registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with the IGR, Orissa with a noble intention for undertaking social welfare activites mainly in the field of health, education, philanthropic and literature and to work for the betterment of people in general and especially the needy, unprivileged,down trodden and economic backward sections of the humanity in particular.

Since the emergence, CITIZENS' FORUM FOR HUMAN RIGHTS is actively associated with various welfare activities and are organizing number of awareness programmes and is on the way with new challenges, commitments and hopes. The social welfare activities undertaken by the forum aim at reaching the slum area people with the initiation of their all round development in the society.

Taking all together This FORUM is a podium of like-minded people who believe in the Philosophy of (MANAB SEBA IS MADHAVA SEBA) human rights and human safety and creating awareness among general public and planting this message in the core of every human heart.
